Esta cuarta entrega me gustó mucho， ya tenemos varios elementos de la historia y Aelin debe empezar a cerrar los cabos sueltos: rescatar a su primo， enfrentarse a ex maestro Arobynn y recuperar lo que le robó， liberar la magia y derrotar al Rey de Ardalan para recuperar su reino。 Y quizás， salvar a su amigo de un destino peor que la muerte。 Aelin utiliza todos sus recursos， su inteligencia y astucia para lograr su objetivo。 Vemos un gran desarrollo de los personajes: Rowan， Aedion， Lysandra， Nes Esta cuarta entrega me gustó mucho， ya tenemos varios elementos de la historia y Aelin debe empezar a cerrar los cabos sueltos: rescatar a su primo， enfrentarse a ex maestro Arobynn y recuperar lo que le robó， liberar la magia y derrotar al Rey de Ardalan para recuperar su reino。 Y quizás， salvar a su amigo de un destino peor que la muerte。 Aelin utiliza todos sus recursos， su inteligencia y astucia para lograr su objetivo。 Vemos un gran desarrollo de los personajes: Rowan， Aedion， Lysandra， Nesryn， Chaol; cada uno cumple un rol en esta trama que resuelve varias situaciones pero abre nuevos desafíos para el futuro。 Aunque ahora Aelin no está sola。 Manon tiene un gran crecimiento en este libro， al igual que sus Trece， y me encanta el rumbo que está tomando su historia （PD: quiero que esa vieja chota de su abuela muera）。 Las historias de los personajes comienzan a cruzarse entre si， y las piezas se mueven en esta guerra que aún no termina。No tengo idea de adónde me está llevando Sarah pero seguramente nos depare muchas sorpresas más。 。。。more

SO FREAKING GOOD。 Had to take a long pause when reading， but once I started again I couldn’t stop😍 meeting all the new characters/ seeing how the old ones come back into the story SO GOOD。 I can’t。 The action and plot UGH PHENOMENAL。 This was the first book of the series where I was just like AHHHH。 Deserving of 5 stars😁I just love everyone so much🥲❤️

So！ Obwohl ich ja bereits letztes Jahr ankündigte， dass meine Reise im ToG-Universum nach Band 3 beendet sei， habe ich es doch gewagt， der Buchreihe （diesmal in Hörbuchform） noch eine Chance zu geben。Aelyn ist zurück in Adarlan und kämpft mit ihren Unterstützern darum， das Land von seinem tyrannischen König zu befreien。 Ziel ist zum einen die Rettung des mit einem Halsband kontrollierten Prinzen Dorian und zum anderen die Rückgewinnung ihres eigenen Throns in Terrasen。 Davor muss sie jedoch eine So！ Obwohl ich ja bereits letztes Jahr ankündigte， dass meine Reise im ToG-Universum nach Band 3 beendet sei， habe ich es doch gewagt， der Buchreihe （diesmal in Hörbuchform） noch eine Chance zu geben。Aelyn ist zurück in Adarlan und kämpft mit ihren Unterstützern darum， das Land von seinem tyrannischen König zu befreien。 Ziel ist zum einen die Rettung des mit einem Halsband kontrollierten Prinzen Dorian und zum anderen die Rückgewinnung ihres eigenen Throns in Terrasen。 Davor muss sie jedoch eine weitere Hürde aus dem Weg schaffen: ihren alten Meister， den Assassinenkönig Arobynn。 Dabei erhält sie Hilfe von unerwarteter Seite – eine alte Feindin… die sich plötzlich zur Freundin wandelt？Manon und ihre Hexen arbeiten derweil weiter für Graf Parrington， der den Plan hat， die Hexen mit Dämonen zu kreuzen， um so schwer besiegbare， neue Krieger zu züchten。 Manon， die vor allem ihrer Großmutter gefallen will， sieht darin kein Problem。 Doch in ihrem Zirkel regt sich so langsam Widerstand…___________________________Ja， naja。 Besser als Band 3， aber bei Weitem nicht so gut， wie die anderen Rezensionen es behaupten。 Ich finde einfach， dass diese Bücher viel zu lang dafür sind， was sie letzten Endes hergeben。 Hätte gut und gerne ein paar hundert Seiten （oder das Hörbuch ein paar Stunden） kürzer sein können。Gut gefallen haben mir Lysandra und Evangeline sowie einige der Hexen aus Manons Zirkel。 Manon selber… weiterhin schwierig。 Die Hauptcharaktere， die in den vorherigen Bänden eingeführt wurden， sind mir immer noch etwas zu schablonenhaft。 Als wären sie nur zweidimensional。 SJM beschreibt diese Personen （Aelyn， Chaol，…） zwar immer wieder， aber so eine richtige Persönlichkeit bekommen sie dann doch nie。 Wenig show， viel tell， wenn ihr wisst， was ich meine。Vielleicht liegt es daran， dass ich Band 3 vor rund 12 Monaten gelesen habe， aber ich habe schon wieder komplett vergessen， wer Lorcan ist。 Und Maeve… war das nicht die eine Königin auf dem anderen Kontinent？ Irgendwie ist es mir alles nicht so wirklich in Erinnerung geblieben。Sarah J。 Maas hat sich da bestimmt eine tolle Geschichte ausgedacht， aber der Grund， warum es mit mir und Throne und Glass einfach nicht so klappen will， ist （glaube ich）， dass der Reihe irgendwie der Humor fehlt。 Niemand macht mal einen guten Witz， kein Charakter hat was zu lachen。 Alles ist immer gleich so dramatisch und super deep。 Auch die Liebesgeschichte soll glaube ich total tiefgehend sein， aber ich fühl sie einfach nicht。 Könnte auch damit zu tun haben， dass ich keinen der Kerle in diesen Büchern bisher gut geschrieben oder ansprechend finde。 Irgendwie passen wir einfach nicht zusammen， ToG und ich。Wie geht es jetzt also weiter？ Ich denke， ich höre mir irgendwann demnächst mal die Novellen-Prequels als Hörbuch an und entscheide dann， wie es weitergeht。 Einerseits sagen ja alle， dass die späteren Bände super sind， andererseits weiß ich nicht， wie viel Geduld ich hier noch mitbringen kann。2。75 ⭐ 。。。more
